Greetings to dear friends (The Bookmark Project)

Dear friends, we have received the bookmarks from Canada and North Carolina. We are still expecting to receive the bookmarks from Pakistan.
We have displayed the bookmarks in the school lobby, for all our pupils to see them.
During the Month of the Croatian books our pupils were reading stories from your countries. We have read a Canadian story, The Crying Chief's Totem, a Native American story from the North Carolina, The Bold Mountains, and a story from Pakistan, The Seven Wise Men of Buneyr. Pupils from grades 2, 3, and 4 made drawings to accompany these stories while displayed. The pupils from grade 8 made a small research about Canada, Pakistan and North Carolina, completing thus our small exhibition. The pupils and the employees of the elementary school Laslovo wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
